The opportunitydcbel is looking to hire an Assistant to the Head of Engineering Department to work in our growing team. We are searching for a candidate that is excited to work in a dynamic engineering department and wants to learn the dynamics of managing such a department. Main responsibilities<ul><li>Gather information available from different internal databases and generate clear, concise and actionable reports.</li><li>Follow through on various initiatives and remove roadblocks. Escalade issues as necessary.</li><li>Understand department priorities and help coordinate tasks accordingly.</li><li>Summarize progress on many initiatives. Highlight items that require attention.  Foresee items that could become problematic and request attention to mitigate risks.</li><li>Track department’s budget.</li><li>Track department’s timeline on initiatives. </li></ul> Key requirements<ul><li>Bachelor degree in Business or Technology related fields or equivalent work experience </li><li>Very strong in all Microsoft tools (outlook, word, excel, powerpoint, etc.)</li><li>Proven experience as an executive assistant will be considered an asset</li></ul> Bonus skills <ul><li>Bilingual English and French </li></ul> Profile<ul><li>Energetic and motivated with strong desire to learn and get things done.</li><li>Ability to learn quickly on a wide ranging topics.</li><li>Extremely organized. Can manage many activities simultaneously.  Doesn’t let anything fall through the cracks.</li><li>High emotional intelligence.
