Balances field planner/engineer work load. Reviews design due dates and re-assign work as necessary. Review completed work orders for feedback and work order accuracy. (50%)</li></ul><ul><li>Responsible for technical support for the construction, operation, and maintenance of all electric facilities in the division. Ensures work is completed in accordance with internal and industry standards following approved policies, procedures, safety rules, budgets and in a manner that promotes customer satisfaction. Resolves customer complaints. (15%)</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of company construction standards, rates, field operating procedures, safety instructions, union contracts, and accounting manuals. Review project designs before and during construction to determine best economic design. Analyze engineering alternatives and provide valid justification for projects. Responsible for managing annual budgets for Electric Distribution. (15%)</li></ul><ul><li>Appraise and approve the work of field planners/engineers doing design work. Develops employees to enhance professional values and effective performance. Identify and arrange for necessary training. (10%)</li></ul><ul><li>Assist operations with storm restoration efforts.
