If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p>The Role:</p><ul><li>Analysis and design trade-off studies of electrical architecture and power converter topologies</li><li>Design and build hardware of power electronics converters for use in automotive applications.</li><li>Start to finish ownership of hardware – from specification to design, component selection, prototype, testing, validation, and high-volume manufacturing.</li><li>Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, firmware engineers to design and validate power converters.</li><li>Work with manufacturing team to ensure efficient and high-yield production of the power converter.</li></ul><p><br>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Strong understanding of power electronics topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC &amp; DC/AC)</li><li>Hands-on hardware experience in power converter (AC/DC, DC/DC &amp; DC/AC) design</li><li>Good understanding of power conversion topologies and control strategies, switching device characteristics and losses, gate driving circuit design, magnetics, capacitors etc.</li><li>Good experience with design of analog/digital circuits</li><li>Experience in PCB layout.</li><li>Proficiency with lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Signal Generators etc.)</li><li>Experience with Design for Manufacturing and DFMEA</li></ul><p><br>Advantageous:</p><ul><li>Familiar with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools</li><li>Familiar with electromagnetic compatibility</li><li>Familiar with environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for automotive applications</li></ul><p><br>Education Requirements:</p><ul><li>BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
