This role is critical in building facility management processes from scratch to support rapid growth, safe operations, and the deployment of first-of-their-kind metal production technologies. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. </span></div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, and standards across all sites (Exeter, Burlington, Woburn).</li><li>Oversee facility operations, including utilities, building systems, maintenance programs, and contractor management </li><li>Lead planning, coordination, and execution of facility upgrades, renovations, and expansions to support production and R&amp;D needs </li><li>Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and structural systems to ensure operational reliability </li><li>Support safe operation of novel process technologies by ensuring facilities meet evolving engineering and production requirements </li><li>Develop and manage facility budgets, service contracts, and procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment </li><li>Identify opportunities for facility improvements to increase safety, efficiency, and sustainability </li><li>Ensure compliance with all facility-related regulatory requirements, building codes, and standards </li><li>Manage and coordinate facility permitting processes required for operations, expansions, and construction activities </li><li>Partner closely with EH&amp;S, engineering, and operations teams to integrate facility needs into company growth plans </li><li>Serve as primary point of contact for facility issues, responding promptly to operational disruptions or emergencies </li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience </li><li>5+ years of facilities management experience in production, pilot plant, or R&amp;D environments, preferably within manufacturing, mining, or chemical industries </li><li>Proven experience building facility management processes from scratch in a scaling or startup environment </li><li>Strong working knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC), utilities, and facility maintenance best practices </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders across multiple sites </li><li>Experience managing facility permitting processes for construction, occupancy, or operational approvals </li><li>Experience managing facility upgrades, expansions, or equipment installations supporting operational readiness </li><li>Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards </li><li>Ability to travel regularly between Exeter, Burlington, and Woburn sites as operational needs require </li></ul><h3>Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary initiatives.
