Our Supplier Industrialization team enables the industrialization of innovative products in an extremely aggressive timeline. In this highly visible role, the Sr. Supplier Industrialization Engineer works with internal stakeholders such as Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, NPI, Material Planning and our suppliers, to develop ways to deliver challenging designs while at the same time ensure a robust supplier industrialization and adherence to quality requirements.</span><span> </span></p><p><span>You will collaborate in upfront part design development as well as roll up your sleeves with suppliers to create new manufacturing methods and control strategies to achieve ambitious specifications and ensure flawless execution during launch.</span><span> </span></p><p><strong><span>You Will:</span></strong><span> </span></p><ul><li><span>Be responsible to review, approve and manage all supplier industrialization activities including but not limited to program timelines, tooling, capital and fixture construction, tooling trials, assembly readiness, Run@Rate.  </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Develop, manage and ensure a robust implementation of the APQP -Advanced Product Quality Planning- process with suppliers from the initial design stage through PPAP submission and the start of mass production.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Work cross-functionally to collaborate and guide engineering development and supplier selection to award businesses to appropriate suppliers with the right qualifications to meet Lucid's requirements, expectations and timelines.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Ensure supplier manufacturing and industrialization capabilities are considered in the part design phase and proper quality expectations are established and agreed.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Work with suppliers to develop new manufacturing techniques or processes to meet design requirements.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Develop quality plans, design test methods and gages, identify potential failure modes and process weaknesses, and drive preventative actions.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Apply Statistical Tools (Design of Experiments, Measurement System Analysis, Statistical Process Control) to ensure robust supplier industrialization systems and processes. </span><span> </span></li><li><span>Understand and use Geometric Dimensional Tolerancing -GD&amp;T- to define inspection methods for process controls of assigned components.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Work cross-functionally with stakeholders from the vehicle Assembly plant Manufacturing, Incoming Quality, Material Planning and Supplier Quality to ensure supplier process related issues are contained and Lucid plants are protected.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Resolve supplier quality and process related issues during industrialization phases and implement permanent corrective and preventative actions.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Perform supplier audits and site inspections; develop process improvement plans and drive implementation. Monitor and maintain performance metrics.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Be able to work independently and make decisions in the best interest of Lucid and its businesses.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Have the ability to travel approximately 30-50% of the time, on a short or long term basis to supplier sites globally or to Lucid’s assembly plants.</span><span> </span></li></ul><p><strong><span>You Bring:</span></strong><span> </span></p><ul><li><span>5+ years of high-volume manufacturing experience in Interior parts such as Instrument Clusters, Displays, HUD, Infotainment Screens, performing roles in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Manufacturing Engineering.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Hands-on Supplier Industrialization, APQP, PPAP and Program Management experience.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Excellent analytical abilities, technical writing ability, and comprehensive understanding of quality toolbox (IATF 16949, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE, GD&amp;T, etc.).</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings and in-depth knowledge of quality standards and specifications in the commodities assigned.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Certification preferred - American Society for Quality, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing, etc.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Experience with tolerance analysis, mold flow, AAR approval.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Team player with strong interpersonal skills, hands-on, data-driven, creative mindset, problem solver, results driven, passion for excellence.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Positive attitude, willingness to learn, be part of the solution and be able to adapt to a highly dynamic working environment.</span><span> </span></li><li><span>Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
