Provide strategic direction for security initiatives and establish policies and procedures to ensure the protection of critical assets.</li><li>Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals. Recruit, train, and retain skilled staff. Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous learning.</li><li>Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks. Implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001, ITAR).</li><li>Incident Response and Management: Develop and oversee incident response plans. Lead investigations in the event of security breaches or incidents, coordinate response efforts, and implement corrective measures.</li><li>Security Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security systems, tools, and technologies. Evaluate and recommend new security solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.</li><li>Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with other departments, stakeholders, and external partners to communicate security-related matters effectively. Collaborate with IT, legal, and executive teams to align security initiatives with business objectives.</li><li>Security Awareness and Training: Develop and conduct security awareness programs for employees. Ensure that all staff members understand security policies and best practices.</li><li>Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage the cybersecurity budget, allocate resources efficiently, and justify investments in security initiatives and technologies. </li></ul><h2> </h2><h2><strong><span>Basic Qualifications:</span></strong></h2><p>• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are often preferred.</p><p>• Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior cybersecurity role, demonstrating progressive leadership and managerial responsibilities.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and compliance requirements.</p><p>• Expertise in threat intelligence, risk management, security architecture, and incident response.</p><p>• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.</p><p>• Ability to stay updated on emerging security trends and technologies. </p><p><strong>ITAR REQUIREMENTS:</strong> </p><ul><li>To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
