This role ensures uninterrupted plant operations and efficient service delivery to customers while adhering to safety standards and company protocols.Location: On-site, Midland, MIAt this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.Minimum Requirements<ul><li>Trade school diploma or equivalent hands-on experience in industrial mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation fields.</li><li>5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including mechanical systems, pneumatics, electrical systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.</li><li>Strong computer skills and technical aptitude.</li><li>Familiarity with micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.</li><li>Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation.</li><li>Must comply with all PPE and EHS training and safety standards.</li><li>Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and work in confined or elevated environments.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Formal certifications in electrical systems, instrumentation, or mechanical maintenance.</li><li>Completion of HAZWOPER, Arc Flash/Electrical Safety, and Hearing Conservation Program (HCP) training.</li><li>Experience with equipment related to electric power systems, hydraulic/pneumatic instrumentation, and industrial process controls.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of plant operations, equipment configuration, and system uptime optimization.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and repair industrial machinery, electrical systems, and instrumentation based on diagrams, manuals, and standard procedures.</li><li>Test and inspect equipment for proper function; make necessary repairs using appropriate tools and technical data.</li><li>Install, repair, and maintain power systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation components.</li></ul><ul><li>Understand and monitor plant equipment and processes to support continuous production and minimize downtime.</li><li>Adjust configurations and systems as needed to maintain operational efficiency.</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance issues as required by customer timelines.</li></ul><ul><li>Adhere to 5 Cardinal Rules and wear designated PPE at all times.</li><li>Immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents to a supervisor.</li><li>Complete required annual trainings: HAZWOPER, Arc Flash/Electrical, Respiratory Protection, and EHS.</li></ul><ul><li>Lift items over 35 lbs. with appropriate equipment or team assistance.</li><li>Work in various environments, including confined spaces, elevated platforms, and indoor/outdoor settings.</li><li>Perform tasks in noisy areas or near operating machinery.</li></ul>The successful candidate is responsible for complying with Hitachi Global Air Power Code of Ethics and related policies.
