The New Product Development (NPD) Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the flawless launch of new products by driving compliance with internal procedures and customer-specific requirements. This role acts as a key quality gatekeeper during the development lifecycle, from prototype to series production handover. The engineer will lead cross-functional problem solving, manage corrective actions, support APQP activities, and coach operational quality teams.General Responsibilities<div><ul><li>Responsible for flawless Launch of new products. </li><li>Initiate and manage all corrective actions required during launch </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Full adherence with all NPD 4.0 process and procedures </li><li>Obtain and flow down customer specific requirements to launch team    </li><li>Conducts the planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution </li><li>Handles design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products </li><li>Conducts analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary </li><li>Develops methods for testing, sampling and training </li><li>May act as internal consultant by providing technical guidance on most complex projects </li><li>Works with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problems </li></ul></div>Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. <ul><li>Hands on working experience with AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA) </li><li>VDA &amp; IATF Quality Management Systems knowledge and or internal auditor experience </li><li>Shop floor / hands on experience as a Quality Engineer, with minimum of 5 years’ job experience </li><li>New Product Launch experience, preferred in electronic components, and 1 + yrs job experience </li><li>Program management skills (ability to manage time and resources to accomplish tasks) </li><li>Ability to work independently and within our teams </li><li>Robust communication skills (written &amp;
