The ideal candidate has a technical mindset and strong customer focus.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate battery installation, preventative maintenance procedures, and acceptance testing.</li><li>Act as Safety Lead at active project sites.</li><li>Inspects and approves the work of C&amp;D agent and sub-contractor field service technicians or representatives; and may be directly responsible for more complex repairs.</li><li>Provide technical support to internal and external customers.</li><li>Perform or assist in test, repair, and install supplemental equipment on battery systems, as required.</li><li>Develop service contract opportunities including sourcing, pricing, and program development.</li><li>Review installation quotation requests and submit pricing to sales.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate warranty work with C&amp;D agents and sub-contractors.</li><li>Coordinate technical evaluation of all C&amp;D-sponsored SMP contracts.</li><li>Perform battery and system field inspections, system analysis and installation coordination to determine whether the cause of failure is a warranty or customer-related issue.</li><li>Evaluates repairs against existing service level agreements or warranties and negotiate resolution with customer.</li><li>Coordinate warranty claim processing and support.</li><li>Train C&amp;D employees, agents and customers on battery installation and maintenance procedures.</li><li>50-75% Travel</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Associate degree or equivalent engineering or technical discipline, electrical/electronic engineering preferred.</li><li>Minimum five years of experience with industrial standby batteries</li><li>Knowledge of the Industry’s protocols, regulations, and best practices.</li><li>Experience in leading and directing the work of others.</li><li>On-site experience at Datacenters, Co-Lo’s, Telecom Central Office, Cell Tower, and/or Utilities including switchgear, power generation and power distribution</li><li>Strong customer service skills</li><li>Skilled in Microsoft Access and Excel.
