Key responsibilities include:<ul><li>Operate casting, rolling mill, press, and lead pot equipment to produce PowerFrame® grids</li><li>Monitor key parameters such as temperature, flow, speed, and product dimensions</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and product changeovers</li><li>Inspect equipment and parts for quality, ensuring conformance to specifications</li><li>Assist maintenance with equipment PMs, repairs, and troubleshooting</li><li>Handle lead safely, following all environmental and safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, hazardous materials handling)</li><li>Train and support new operators to ensure safe, efficient performance</li><li>Document production data and quality checks accurately</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or GED preferred not required</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills</li><li>Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs.</li><li>Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment</li><li>Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirator when applicable</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety</li></ul>About the PlantOur Red Oak, Iowa Components Plant specializes in manufacturing PowerFrame® grids, a critical component in automotive battery technology.
