We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control / Maintenance Clerk to join our team at a steelwork’s facility in Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment. This role supports the maintenance team by ensuring timely availability and proper documentation of inventory, while adhering to safety and operational standards in an industrial setting.Key Responsibilities:· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and delivery documents.· Accurately log inventory data into the inventory management system (ERP/WMS).· Store items in designated storage areas, following safety and organization standards.· Issue materials, tools, and equipment to maintenance/production crews based on job orders and requests.· Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.· Time Entry for Mechanic work hours into Oracle· Responsible for Check out / Check in function within Oracle for Asset repairs· Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low or excess inventory· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.· Prepare and pack outgoing shipments as needed.· Identify damaged or non-conforming items and escalate appropriately.· Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.· Collect parts from external suppliers if requiredComply with all site safety policies and OSHA regulations.
