AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer - Municipal for immediate employment in the Kitchener office. This is a great opportunity for an intermediate level Municipal Engineer with design experience who is seeking a role that allows them to expand their experience and responsibility. The appropriately qualified candidate will have a proven track record in design, design reviews, proposal writing, report writing, and client liaison with the experience and enthusiasm to enhance and grow a municipal design team. The successful candidate will be expected to support in the delivery of infrastructure to customers primarily within the municipal water, wastewater and stormwater sector.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Lead existing municipal technical design staff, for projects including:</li><li>Sewer and watermain design/replacement /reconstruction,</li><li>Roadway and intersection improvements,</li><li>Site servicing design​,</li><li>Potable water pumping, transmission, storage and distribution systems</li><li>Sanitary drainage and pumping</li><li>Client liaison and relationship management</li><li>Prepare documentation related to current or prospective projects, including correspondence, reports, proposals, expressions of interest, and specifications</li><li>Perform Contract Administration duties, including contractor interaction, progress payment certificates and convene progress site meetings.  </li><li>Communicate and work with other project team members in Kitchener and other regional offices to provide quality service to clients on projects of varying scope and complexity </li><li>Support new business development </li><li>Liaise with and assist other departments and offices in the provision of design services to other clients, as applicable</li><li>Perform financial and budget control duties on projects</li><li>Respond to contractor and public inquiries</li></ul>
