In addition, this role will maintain responsibility for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials.Essential Duties:<ul><li>Efficiently locate and pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned areas to maintain inventory levels for production</li><li>Ability to accurately verify parts and quantities and complete BOL’s to receive and/or ship material</li><li>Operate all material handling equipment (stand-up, sit-down, combi, lancer, tugger) in assigned operations facility</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 5S standards</li><li>Use best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipment</li><li>Utilize computer equipment to interact with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to record inventory transactions as they are completed</li><li>Works closely with department leadership to ensure materials are moved timely</li><li>Responsible for working on assigned projects</li><li>Assist in the introduction and training of new and existing team members</li><li>Support the implementation of continuous improvement within the department</li><li>Other duties, as assigned</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to become forklift certified</li><li>3+ years of applicable position experience</li><li>Fundamental computer, math, and reading skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes</li><li>Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms at a level above standard</li><li>Experience using warehouse technology or electronics</li><li>Ability to effectively lead, coach, inspire, develop, and motivate teams</li><li>Provide guidance and support to peers</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience in automotive manufacturing</li><li>Previous experience</li><li>High School Diploma/GED or certification program in equivalent field</li><li>Previous leadership experience</li></ul>Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities.
