The company has launched an impressive range of world firsts, particularly when it comes to safety and sustainable operations. The RoleReporting to the City Operations Manager, the Operations Associate plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day planning and execution of our local operations. This hands-on position ensures that operations across multiple cities are running safely, efficiently, and effectively, contributing directly to the success of our ground teams and the overall user experience. What You’ll Do<ul><li>Responsible for daily execution of local ground operations, including deployment, battery swapping and other ad hoc operations tasks are completed.</li><li>Responsible for shaping multiple cities' operational strategy, developing plans, analysing data, and aligning goals to achieve the organisational objectives.</li><li>As needed, travel to managed cities across Australia to implement operational strategies in person.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring ongoing operational optimisation, maximising the usage of our e-scooters and e-bikes whilst managing operational costs.</li><li>Hire, train, mentor and manage new and existing operational staff to build an effective local team.</li><li>Handle escalations, own root cause analysis and follow-through incidents to resolution.</li><li>As needed, assist operational staff with the deployment, maintenance, rebalancing and returning e-scooters to designated parking stations or high-demand areas.</li><li>Ensure the Operations team adheres to standard operating procedures and that all operational, administrative and compliance functions within Neuron are met and conducted in a safe manner.</li></ul> What You'll Need<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or related field.</li><li>Ability to interpret data to make informed operational decisions and improve business outcomes</li><li>Proficient in Excel &amp; exposure to Tableau is advantageous</li><li>A hands-on approach to leadership - our Operations Associate will need to be comfortable managing "in the field" alongside their team members from time to time.</li><li>Flexible work schedule with the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed, especially during new location launch periods.</li><li>Ability to lift, carry and manoeuvre 38-40 kg.</li><li>Self-starter who radiates positivity and possesses a "can-do" attitude</li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a complex operational environment.</li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills.</li><li>Passionate about delivering a seamless customer experience.</li><li>Experience in the mobility, transit, logistics, or tech start-up space is advantageous.</li><li>Strong leadership qualities with a knack for coaching and personal development, ideally positioned to assist the Operations Manager in day-to-day team and city oversight.</li></ul>Our ValuesMake It HappenWe strive to deliver results with the highest impact and are committed to following through.
