AECOM is looking to appoint an Associate – Cost Management to join a major client team in Dubai, working on high-end residential, hospitality and commercial developments.Desired Skills <ul><li>Experienced cost management professional with minimum 15 years in the construction industry, including minimum of 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East. </li></ul><ul><li>Ideally involved in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract roles, having managed high-profile landmark projects and has led teams of larger than 6. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in a range of asset types including High-End Residential, Commercial and Hospitality. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in management and assessment of claims, and strong contract administration skills (FIDIC) for both consultants and contractors. </li></ul><ul><li>Experience in leading projects with large CAPEX values exceeding US$ 200 million. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to take ownership and lead work under minimal direction. </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to provide advisory on procurement and phasing strategies, consultant appointments, contractor selection, support feasibility studies, pre-contract estimating including design to budget responsibilities and see through the post-contract phase with contracts close-out. </li></ul><ul><li>Manages projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and acts as primary point of contact for clients on mid-scale projects. </li></ul><ul><li>Accountable for a variety of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector. </li></ul><ul><li>Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood. </li></ul><ul><li>Manages the resources across several projects, all within the established budgets. </li></ul><ul><li>Manages quality control and ensures all procedures are complied with. </li></ul><ul><li>Manages benchmarking, data collection, internal reporting. </li></ul><ul><li>Supervises and mentors more junior members of staff to enable their development, assisting with the graduate development programme where appropriate.  </li></ul><ul><li>Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports. </li></ul>
