We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Guide and mentor other associates on the inventory team. </li> <li>Receive, store and issue raw materials, parts, assemblies and hardware to support production operations.</li> <li>Store inventory in bins, drawers and racks, quickly and accurately identifying parts in their warehouse location.</li> <li>Perform picking function to make up necessary kits of parts, material, and hardware, ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in the kit.</li> <li>Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures.</li> <li>Monitor shelf-life storage and maintain proper rotation of stock.</li> <li>Affixing verification and traceability on required lot and serial tracked parts before issuing.</li> <li>Maintain shop consumable supply inventories.</li> <li>Perform cycle counts and daily inventory maintenance duties. </li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>Will need to have proficient experience using computers for data entry.</li> <li>Minimum 3-8 years inventory control experience.</li> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</li> <li>Strict attention to detail is required.</li> <li>Must be able to work between different software systems and quickly learn their interdependencies.</li> <li>Positive attitude with a customer service mindset.</li> <li>Collaborative work ethic and adaptable to evolving team processes. </li> <li>Experience with ERP/Inventory management software tools.</li> <li>Above average business office skills.</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.</li> <li>Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</li> <li>Physical strength and stamina, enough to lift 60 pounds occasionally.</li> <li>Strong understanding of the full Supply Chain Model and how it affects other aspects of the business</li> <li>Career stability and dedication, demonstrated by multiple-year service to previous employers</li> <li>Knowledge of and adherence to strict safety protocols<strong>Key Competencies</strong></li> <li>Commitment to high quality standards</li> <li>High energy, initiative, and self-motivation</li> <li>Willing to do hands-on work regularly</li> <li>Planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills</li> <li>Versatility and flexibility to meet changing priorities in a dynamic environment</li> <li>Ability to assess, solve, and analyze root causes of problems</li> <li>Problem solving skills and resourcefulness</li></ul><p> </p><p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
