With over 30 years of proven expertise across Private Equity, Credit, and Real Assets in various regions and industries, we are known for our integrated businesses, our strong investment performance, our value-oriented philosophy, and our people.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Member of the Investment Engineering Trading Services team, responsible for the full lifecycle of development tasks - analyze, design and code business-related solutions, as well as core architectural changes, using an Agile programming approach resulting in software delivered on schedule.</li><li>Participate and contribute to design discussions and code reviews.</li><li>Engage with our business colleagues to refine user experiences</li><li>Focus on proven, tested solutions of highly sensitive trading applications.</li><li>Build positive relationships with other team members, collaborate, and communicate effectively to reach successful outcomes.</li><li>Utilize problem-solving skills to help your peers in the research and selection of new tools, products, and frameworks.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Master’s degree in computer science/engineering</li><li>Alternatively, the candidate may have bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering combined with 1-4 years of relevant experience at a financial firm in an engineering role.</li><li>Comfortable working in an agile software delivery environment, with Git and with exposure to CI / CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes)</li><li>Strong software development experience building full-stack cloud-based applications using Python and a TypeScript UI framework (Vue.js preferred)</li><li>Familiar with automated testing techniques: Test Driven Development, Mocking, Dependency Injection</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build and deploy microservices in a scalable high throughput workflow.</li><li>Passion for clean, maintainable code and always looking to improve engineering skills in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.</li><li>Demonstrated interest in finance and capital markets through studies, experience, or personal projects.</li></ul>ABOUT APOLLOApollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager.
