Responsibilities / TasksSpares &amp; Service Support Engineer is part of a LPT Global Engineering Hub based at Vadodara, India that supports global departments within GEA. This role involves office-based tasks with the following key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and execute recommended spare Parts List from equipment list and P&amp; ID.</li><li>Ensure all parts are categorized correctly by part identification (spare, wear, critical…), their specifications and suppliers.</li><li>Validate and update spare parts information based on feedback from global department and as per their workflow.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to gather quotations for spare parts, analyze proposals, and ensure compliance with company standards and budgets.</li><li>Assist in preparing recommended spare Parts Quotations for different stake holder using standard price lists and supplier proposals.</li><li>Prepare cost calculations and proposals on standard templates and communicating with suppliers to gather prices.</li><li>Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders, addressing queries, gathering inputs, and providing regular updates on spare part-related tasks.</li><li>Assist stakeholders in creating, updating, and resolving tickets in the CRM system, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.</li><li>Track ticket status and provide regular updates to stakeholders on resolution progress.</li><li>Identify and implement improvements in spare parts management processes and CRM workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Maintain organized records of spare parts lists, quotations, and CRM tickets, generating reports and insights as needed.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsYou hold a bachelor’s or diploma engineering degree in mechanical with a minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in the engineering industry or similar.<ul><li>Experience with Spares and/or Service background.</li><li>Ability to read and understand CAD/engineering drawings &amp; P&amp;ID information.</li><li>Good knowledge of CRM &amp; ERP system – Bluestar, Axapta, SAP will be added advantage.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).</li><li>Ability to use document management software &amp; applications.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written) – Mandatory.</li><li>English proficiency – Mandatory.</li><li>Highly adaptable and flexible mindset.</li><li>Self-motivated and ability to work independently.</li><li>Good interpersonal &amp; time management skills.</li><li>Well organized and structured.</li><li>Team player.</li><li>Open minded and determined.</li><li>To succeed in this role, you will need to have a curious mindset and have a structured approach to your assignments, which allows you to finish the tasks that have been set out.</li></ul>Add-on advantage if you have:<ul><li>Experience of cost calculation, preparing sales quote and proposals.</li><li>Knowledge &amp; Experience of SAP.</li><li>Cross Culture Intelligence.
