They oversee installer partners to ensure quality, maintain margins, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Other responsibilities include though are not limited to:</p><p><strong>Big Things:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the successful delivery of home comfort and electrification projects – you are accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success or failure of the project.</li><li>Lead planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects.</li><li>Understand &amp; articulate project goals, develop reasonable project schedules, coordinate scheduling with contractor partners, manage homeowner expectations, and keep all stakeholders aligned and informed.</li><li>Develop and execute detailed processes and task lists; use best practices and tools to efficiently track, delegate, and ensure completion.</li><li>Monitor project risks and develop/implement mitigation strategies in real time.</li></ul><p><strong>Little Things:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide internal and external feedback to improve our ability to sell, scope, design, and execute projects; Improve our Project Playbook.</li><li>Identify opportunities to deliver an even better experience for all stakeholders – homeowners, contractor-partners, suppliers, etc.</li><li>Ensure our Project Management capabilities are world-class – effective, efficient, replicable, scalable, etc.</li><li>Help to grow our Project Management team through hiring, training, and collaborating with other Project Managers.</li></ul><p><strong>What you won’t be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Working exclusively from your desk managing relationships from a phone or computer</li><li>Handling refrigerant, wiring electrical panels, or drilling into drywall.</li></ul><p><strong>Timeline for role expectations:</strong></p><ol><li>Within one month, you will have:</li><ol><li>Shadowed multiple home comfort consultations and installations</li><li>Gained comfort with our tech stack</li></ol><li>Within three months, you will have completed your first heat pump project and be manage multiple end to end projects independently</li><li>Within six months, you will independently manage a portfolio of installation projects and be supporting the growth and success of other members of the sales team.</li></ol><p><strong>Success in this role looks like/can be measured as: </strong></p><ul><li>Quality. PMs are the last stop on quality, measured in call backs and failed inspections.</li><li>Customer Satisfaction. PMs directly influence our ability to meet and exceed margin targets on every project.  </li></ul><h3>You're a great fit for this role if you have/you are:</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience successfully delivering projects in residential architecture or construction, HVAC, energy, or similar industries. Experience in related fields such as smart home technology, building science, energy efficiency, or customer-focused project management is highly desirable.
