This engineer will play a key role in a small, fast-moving team. They will participate in architecture design and implementation inside of our systems integration test automation system for our electric-powered, fly-by-wire aircraft. </p><p> </p><p>Specifically, this role focuses on Hardware in the Loop Test Automation and development of CI/CD pipelines and tooling. We’re looking for software engineers with strong python skills and Docker knowledge. In-depth experience of CI Tests and best practices is also expected for this position.  A basic understanding and familiarity with networking concepts is also a must have.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Create CI/CD pipelines to automate Software Verification tasks with TeamCity</li> <li>Assist with Hardware In the Loop Test Infrastructure in our Santa Cruz labs</li> <li>Develop analytics to visualize testing status for the different embedded aviation components.</li> <li>Work with embedded teams in order to spot and fix regressions.</li> <li>Integrate existing Python tools into CI/CD pipelines in order to automate and optimize workflows</li> <li>Facilitate the utilization of new CI/CD tools to scale up the testing of hardware-focused tests</li> <li>Leverage AI-driven solutions to optimize our development workflows.</li> <li>Integrate intelligent automation into our testing and deployment processes.</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>University degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering and 3+ years full time industry experience. An advanced degree and 1+ year of practical experience will also be considered.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Python</li> <li>Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Development (CI/CD) and DevOps tools</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>Experience with REST API</li> <li>Experience with Docker and Kubernetes</li> <li>Willingness to be flexible and learn new technologies</li> <li>Ability to work effectively as a team member in a geographically distributed team</li></ul><h2>Additional Information</h2><p>Please still apply if you don’t meet all items in the desired section! The target base pay for this position is $96,700 - $154,300/yr.
