We have an exciting opportunity in Dublin, Ireland for a graduate to work within our Traffic Engineering &amp; Consulting Team. This team, one of the largest dedicated Traffic Engineering Teams in the UK&amp;I, is focused on developing engineering measures to achieve a safe and efficient movement and interaction of pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles on our roads. We focus mainly on developing and appraising practical solutions which require consideration of traffic flows, road geometry, cycle facilities, traffic signs, pavement engineering, traffic signals and intelligent transport systems. We strive to achieve the optimum use of the available space which is often constrained, especially in urban areas.  Our main aim is to create Streets that are more pleasant and safe to use by our local communities.   Candidates will use industry leading computer software and BIM modelling programmes while working on a variety of different projects including:<ul><li>Road &amp; Street design</li><li>Cycle lane design</li><li>Bus Priority and BRT Design</li><li>Streetscape improvement projects</li><li>Traffic management planning and design</li><li>Traffic signal design</li><li>Traffic signage design</li><li>Traffic modelling (micro-simulation)</li></ul>
