The fleet consists of 33 five car class 810 Bi mode trains that will revolutionise rail in Derby.As the Team SAP Administrator you will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive support to the production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Key activities and responsibilities include:<ul><li>Logging, checking, and scanning of paperwork. Coordinate with Production teams to obtain further information, signatures, or data corrections to enable documents to be fully completed.</li><li>Attending meetings where required and taking typed notes, sending out any action lists and following up progress with the required action owners.</li><li>Issuing team briefs, toolbox talks and coordinating signature capture and evidence of full department sign off.</li><li>Maintaining SAP data to a high standard, raising, inputting, and closing notifications and work orders in SAP.</li><li>Creating daily planned maintenance notifications and work orders.</li><li>Prepare daily status reports for the morning meetings, ensure all trackers are up to date and accurate.</li><li>Maintaining departmental files and electronic records and carry out any other ad hoc filing as required in accordance with business processes and procedures.</li><li>Liaise with the Data Taskforce to ensure all assets are in the correct location within SAP and all mileages and hours are recorded.</li><li>Co-ordinating, ordering and issuing new starter kits for new employees – liaise with reception to arrange ordering of bump caps, safety glasses and safety shoes, issuing of lockers, clothes, padlocks, tags etc and renewal of these items for existing employees as required.</li><li>Carrying out safety inspections of the office area in accordance with laid down process -ownership of the office zone as part of the health and safety inspection regime for the depot.</li><li>Ensure consistency of approach in administration documents, templates, and procedures across the business</li><li>Processing Engineering SAP requests, including raising Fleet Checks, Modifications, and Special Checks.</li><li>All other administration duties as required.</li></ul>About youKey Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Health and Safety conscious</li><li>Ability to work in a busy, high volume of activity environment.</li><li>Highly proficient in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Experience of working in an administration role</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.</li><li>Professional and Confident</li><li>Pro-active and self-motivated with good timekeeping</li><li>Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.</li><li>Good report writing skills.</li><li>Demonstration of ongoing personal development</li></ul>What we offer We value the importance of all of our employees, if you would like to join our fantastic organisation you could be entitled to:<ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Annual Performance bonus paid on discretionary basis.</li><li>25 days holiday</li><li>Pension scheme with contributions up to 9%</li><li>Private medical insurance</li><li>Personal Accident insurance</li><li>Group Income protection</li><li>Group Life Insurance</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li></ul>We also offer additional perks for you to choose from within a flexible plan that will meet your specific needs and lifestyle.#LI-AH1Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
