You will work within the Financial Control team, and will be a key link between Financial Control and the wider Finance Operations team.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">Your role will include the preparation of monthly reconciliations for Octopus EV, reporting on variances as required and working with the team, the wider company and funders to rectify variances.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">You will be working closely with the business to assist with day-to-day financial management and identifying any commercial risks or opportunities to improve the business’ financial controls and internal processes. </span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">We need someone that has a great eye for detail, is self-driven to own accounts and processes and is always looking for ways for us to improve as the business grows.</span></div><div><br></div><br><br><h3>What you'll do...</h3><ul><li>Performance of reconciliations and timely reporting of highlighted variances </li><li>Assist with month end reporting, including journals and financial analysis</li><li>Assist with tracking reporting on vehicles purchased on a weekly basis</li><li>Work closely with our Finance Operations team to resolve reconciliation issues</li><li>Help manage creditor and debtor ledgers and deal with any queries regarding payments or receipts</li><li>Assist with audit and tax queries </li><li>Identify and assist with implementation of new processes and process improvements</li></ul><h3>What you'll need...</h3><ul><li>Experience working in a Finance team, preferably within financial services</li><li>Experience using Excel, accounting software (NetSuite) and data tools would be preferable</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organisational skills</li><li>Proactive attitude towards your work</li><li>Interest in or progress towards completing an Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) preferable</li></ul><h3>💚 Why else you'll love it here</h3><ul><li>💰 Wondering what the salary for this role is?
