We will continue to innovate and do our part to preserve the environment by creating vehicles to reduce carbon emissions. </p><p>General Responsibilities: </p><ul><li><p>Direct and manage multiple concurrent engineering projects while ensuring their success in meeting their respective objectives. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Implement approved engineering budgets and monitor actual expenses to ensure they fall within budgets, analyzing out of budget expenses and ensuring they are offset in other areas of the project unless fully justified. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Consult or negotiate with clients to finalize engineering project specifications. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Present engineering plans, progress status updates and situations to project stakeholders and financiers. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Review and approve proposed engineering designs and subsequent product and process enhancements or changes. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Knowledge of FMVSS and State School Bus Requirements. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Understanding of Manufacturing Processes. </p></li></ul><p>Working Conditions and Environment: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) </p><ul><li><p>Long and varied hours required occasionally. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and toxic items that require training for haz-mat. </p></li></ul><p>Physical Demands: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) </p><ul><li><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear.
