If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><div><p>We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven <strong>2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor</strong> to lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electrical technicians, as well as controls engineers, in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.</p><p>This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.</p><p> </p><p><strong>You Will:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel on 2nd shift.</li><li>Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.</li><li>Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, robotics, conveyors, and facility systems.</li><li>Prioritize and assign work orders based on production needs and equipment criticality.</li><li>Collaborate with day shift and engineering teams to ensure smooth shift transitions and issue resolution.</li><li>Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and PLC/controls systems.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.</li><li>Work with controls engineers to implement automation improvements and resolve system faults.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements to increase equipment uptime and reduce maintenance costs.</li><li>Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, 5S, and TPM programs.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of labor, parts usage, and downtime.</li><li>Assist in planning and scheduling major repairs and shutdown activities.</li><li>Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new maintenance staff.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>You Bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).(highly advantageous).</li><li>5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC/automation systems (Allen-Bradley preferred).</li><li>Experience in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficient in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
