We’re looking for a Communications &amp; Content Lead to help share our story with founders, investors, and the broader climate innovation ecosystem.For more see www.aucap.vc<hr><h3>What You’ll Do</h3>You’ll lead and execute our external communications, owning our content calendar and helping us stand out as a top-tier, mission-driven fund.<h4>LinkedIn &amp; Thought Leadership — ~5 hours/week</h4><ul><li>Ghostwrite two LinkedIn posts per week on behalf of our Managing Director:<ul><li>One with original insights aligned to our thesis</li><li>One with commentary or reaction to current events in climate adaptation or venture capital</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Work directly with the Managing Director to align on topics, tone, and messaging</li><li>Posts must be well-researched, sourced, and polished — and feel distinctly human</li><li>Use AI tools to accelerate workflow while ensuring quality and originality</li></ul><h4>Speaking Engagements &amp; Public Voice — ~4 hours/week</h4><ul><li>Own our speaking calendar — identify and track relevant opportunities for events, panels, and podcasts</li><li>Draft and submit abstracts, bios, and background materials</li><li>Prepare materials and help shape messaging for upcoming appearances (e.g., slides, talking points, FAQs)</li></ul><h4>Investor Communications — ~3–4 hours/week (avg. over the month)</h4><ul><li>Write and orchestrate a monthly high-visibility LP newsletter, including:<ul><li>Fund updates, market insights, and thought leadership</li><li>A curated pipeline snapshot with companies we’re speaking to — and why</li></ul></li><li>Organize and manage a monthly small-group LP info session, including logistics, invites, and follow-ups</li></ul><h4>News &amp; Content Curation — ~1.5–2 hours/week</h4><ul><li>Monitor climate adaptation and VC news to identify high-signal articles or insights</li><li>Share curated content with the internal team and recommend content to repost publicly</li><li>Draft short blurbs or comments to accompany reshares where relevant</li></ul><h4>Website &amp; Messaging — ~0.5 hours/week (avg.)</h4><ul><li>Maintain and update select sections of the website, including:<ul><li>Team bios, insights/blog posts, and event-related content</li><li>Ensure tone and language reflect our brand and mission</li></ul></li></ul><h4>Collaboration &amp; Internal Syncs — ~1–2 hours/week</h4><ul><li>Join working sessions with the team (primarily Managing Director)</li><li>Provide occasional strategic input on fund positioning and communications priorities</li><li>Help onboard new communications workflows and evolve our tone-of-voice</li></ul>Additional external related communication activities will be required from time (e.g., grant writing)<hr><h3>Who You Are</h3><ul><li>A strong, strategic writer with experience in thought leadership, editorial strategy, or ghostwriting</li><li>Deeply familiar with climate adaptation, sustainability, or climate tech<ul><li>You understand nuance, scientific credibility, and how to source responsibly</li></ul></li><li>Comfortable working with data and evidence-based storytelling</li><li>Fluent in AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI) — you use them to draft, accelerate, and refine while maintaining a high-quality human voice</li><li>Organized and proactive — you keep deadlines, manage calendars, and communicate clearly with the team</li><li>Bonus: experience preparing speakers or submitting to high-visibility events</li></ul><hr><h3>Time Commitment</h3><ul><li>Estimated 12–17 hours per week, depending on event cycles and newsletter weeks</li><li>Flexibility in schedule, with a focus on consistent, high-quality output</li><li>Our leadership team is spread across the West Coast and East Coast of North America and Europe — you must be available for meetings across these time zones at least once per week in each</li></ul>
