Product Designers at Zoox are deeply integrated into our cross-functional teams, touching every aspect of our vertically integrated service: Our ride-hailing app, internal tools, human-AI interaction design, in-vehicle interfaces, lighting, and sound. </span></div><br><br><h3>In this role you will...</h3><ul><li>Design products that are elegant, accessible, and intuitive with a deep understanding of our mission-critical remote and ground operations teams</li><li>Partner closely with high-velocity, cross-functional development teams</li><li>Drive product roadmap and strategy decisions</li><li>Drive alignment with executive stakeholders through persuasive storytelling</li><li>Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Zoox's design systems and principles</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>8+ years of relevant design experience inside a commercial business</li><li>A genuine curiosity and passion for solving transportation challenges in cities</li><li>Figma mastery</li><li>A portfolio showcasing successful product work loved by users and produced in high-velocity teams</li><li>Command of visual design, UI patterns, and interaction principles - you uplevel the craft and quality of the teams you work with</li><li>Strong prototyping abilities that accelerate decision making and development time. A high aptitude for shipping and learning quickly</li><li>You’ve shipped web applications used in mission-critical operations </li><li>You have run projects independently end to end as the lead designer</li><li>You know how to balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line</li><li>You have experience working with product management, engineering, research, data, and other designers</li><li>Proficient accessible designing systems architecture. Skilled in implementing WCAG standards</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>You are a designer who can code and can ship to production</li><li>You’ve helped build ground-up design systems or significantly evolved them</li><li>Expertise in motion design and animation</li></ul><br>
