They must possess a strong knowledge of troubleshooting, PM, and Electrical Systems. <br>They must help to develop strategies to meet team and company goals. Reports to the various supervisors and managers throughout the production organization. The Technician must possess a working knowledge of standard automotive OEM process equipment and related systems, be a problem solver, and be communicative and proactive in the execution of daily activities. Contribute to day-to-day operations and create reports to update the company in the event it is required. Must be able to perform under pressure, remain dynamic, and understand urgency. The Technician must be able to practice teamwork and team building within our organization.<br><br>You Will:</p><ul><li>Perform maintenance of process equipment in various shops at Lucid depending on department. </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on all types of production equipment. </li><li>Correct documentation of all preventive maintenance activities performed.  </li><li>Work with maintenance planner to learn and use the CMMS system. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair complex problems on production equipment.  </li><li>Repair and/or replacement of defective parts.  </li><li>Support installation of new equipment.  </li><li>Fabricate parts for plant and/or production equipment.  </li><li>Enforce and follow all Safety rules and regulations. </li><li>Other responsibilities as needed. </li></ul><p><br><br>You Bring:</p><ul><li>At least 2 years of work experience in a maintenance capacity on manufacturing or industrial equipment.</li><li>At least 2 years of experience in proper troubleshooting of electrical systems.</li><li>Understanding of electrical control systems.</li><li>Be able to verbally explain the correct use of multimeter and other related diagnostic tools.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge and detailed troubleshooting abilities of robots and/or other automation equipment.</li><li>Familiarity with shafts, motors, chains, and various other conveyor related equipment.</li><li>Understanding of PLC logic controls (Rockwell / Siemens / etc.)</li><li>Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems</li><li>Understand the operation and function of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders and valves. </li><li>There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and perform other similar actions during the workday.</li><li>Ability to work flexible schedule, overtime, weekends, when necessary.</li><li>Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.</li><li>MIG, TIG, and stick welding and cutting skills are preferred but not required.</li><li>Can operate mobile equipment, including forklifts and other powered industrial trucks.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li></ul><p>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
