In this role you will report to the People Ops Program Manager of NA and APAC. While not directly responsible for processing the payroll, this role will have a strong understanding of payroll practices and act as a bridge between Finance and the People team. You will be the first point of contact to resolve any payroll related questions from employees and HR Business Partners.What you will do:<ul style=""><li>Act as the primary contact for NA and APAC employee inquiries related to payroll</li><li>Assist employees in understanding their wages, earnings and deductions</li><li>Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure that employees are informed of any adjustments that affect compensation</li><li>Liaising with our internal payroll global team (located in Malaysia) and external providers to ensure a correct payroll process across the countries; work to resolve any payroll discrepancies and issues</li><li>Process compensation and bonus changes in Workday to ensure smooth processing and approval for payroll cutoff</li><li>Ensure approval process is followed for any special payroll requests including manual payroll adjustments and checks</li><li>Maintains payroll vendor employee set up for new hires and terminations</li><li>Ensures compliance with various state and federal regulations</li><li>Drive and support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, streamlining workflows, and recommending scalable solutions</li><li>Champion automation initiatives by working cross functionally to reduce manual work, and implement tools that increase payroll accuracy and efficiency</li></ul>About you:<ul style=""><li>You have 3+ years proven experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role</li><li>Experience working in an international payroll environment and are familiar with different payroll systems</li><li>You have good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll within the North America and APAC regions</li><li>Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements and automation</li><li>Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including the ability to manage templates, perform data analysis, and create pivot tables or reports as needed</li><li>Comfortable using Word or Google Docs for documentation and communication </li></ul>#LI-REMOTE #LI-TG1If you want to make an impact, Lime is the place for you.
