AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for a full-time position that can be based in our Markham or Mississauga offices. The candidate for this position will work on municipal drinking water and wastewater conveyance projects and related infrastructure as well as multi-disciplinary projects including planning, feasibility, design and construction.The appropriately qualified candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in delivering multi disciplinary projects and water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure projects. They will be expected to lead a team to maintain schedule, delivery quality design compliant with local standards and specifications, communicate with stakeholders effectively and obtain permits.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Lead a high performing team in the delivery of complex multidisciplinary water and wastewater conveyance projects.</li><li>Technical knowledge of water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure in a municipal environment.</li><li>Work successfully within a team environment and communicate effectively with other project team members and clients.</li><li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build a strong relationship of trust and understanding.</li><li>Work closely with the design manager and other discipline engineers as a key player in leading the design delivery.</li><li>Support in project reviews and leadership of other Project Managers, as determined necessary.</li><li>Regular reporting on budget, schedule and quality performance for the project.</li><li>Complete designs within local standards, including making informed decisions on which standard to follow where there are conflicts and communicate and document the decision, engaging stakeholders as required.</li><li>Complete technical reports, calculations, and undertake design decisions.</li><li>Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and review design drawings.</li><li>Assist in conducting technical quality reviews of deliverables.</li><li>Liaison with the disciplines to coordinate design efforts, manage project schedules, and track budgets.</li><li>Conduct periodic site visits during design and construction</li><li>Provide continuity through complete project, from design through construction.</li><li>Provide guidance to technical staff.</li></ul>
