At SP Energy Networks, we know people are central to building a better future, quicker and we are seeking new talent to join our team.As a Technical Team Member, you will provide business support Energy Networks, Customer Connections Team.What you’ll be doing<ul><li>Contribute as an effective, technical team member to the Connections Team.</li><li>Manage correspondence, applications and contacts accordingly deciding and initiating the action or communication required with customers.</li><li>Support delivery of customer and regulatory commitments.</li><li>Ensure all customer contacts that are received by the business are dealt with in accordance with the relevant processes and timescales</li><li>Provide administration, management support and reporting within all areas of the Connections Team.</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of your operation and actively promote customer service standards within area of responsibility.</li><li>Ensure awareness of and comply with Company Health, Safety and Environmental requirements on issues as they arise.</li><li>Work towards a zero-accident culture and lead by example</li><li>Use innovative IT solutions and best practices to increase efficiency.</li><li>Administer and process all paperwork during the Project Lifecycle</li><li>Ensure quality standards are maintained in all activities performed.</li><li>Participate in the development / improvement of processes and procedures</li></ul>What you’ll bring<ul><li>Working knowledge of network and business data management and management reporting systems</li><li>Working knowledge of Regulatory Reporting Requirements</li><li>Working knowledge of Guaranteed Standard, Voluntary Standard, Licence and Ofgem requirements</li><li>Ability to work as part of a multi-functional team</li><li>Excellent telephony skills</li><li>Developed customer service skills</li><li>Knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices.</li><li>Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation</li><li>Awareness of regulatory issues impacting on the Business</li><li>Awareness of inter-business relationships</li></ul>To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate as a minimum:<ul><li>Higher Education or equivalent (four GCSE grades) particularly in Maths and English.</li><li>Developed customer service skills</li><li>Computer literacy – e.g. Microsoft Office suite</li></ul>What’s in it for youAs well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
