Counter Sales / Warehouse<p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Status:</b></p>Regular, Full time<p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Location:</b></p>Terrace, British Columbia<p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><h1></h1><h1></h1><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p>Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, as a counter salesperson you will be responsible for greeting and serving customers at our sales counter, ensuring the merchandise is attractively displayed, and assisting in the warehouse.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Your main tasks: </span></b></p><ul><li>Greet and serve Customers in a professional manner in person and on the phone;</li><li>Process customer orders, which includes picking the order from the warehouse, carrying merchandise to the customer's vehicle when necessary;</li><li>Promote sales of focus and complimentary products, and suggest alternative or associated products as needed;</li><li>Respond to various product enquiries including price and delivery information for items not in stock;</li><li>Maintain the counter area clean, organized and restock as needed; set up new displays;</li><li>Offloading trucks, receiving merchandise, preparing and shipping orders, keeping the warehouse tidy and products in right locations;</li><li>Locate related Customer back-orders and advise Customer of their arrival;</li><li>Assist the Inside Sales team as needed.</li></ul><p><br><b><span>What we’re looking for: </span></b></p><ul><li>2-3 years' experience in a similar position;</li><li>Good merchandising skills and product application knowledge;</li><li>Team player, with a positive professional attitude;</li><li>Good communication and organizational skills;  </li><li>Knowledge of English written and spoken;</li><li>Demonstrated initiative to self-improvement of your business and product skills;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines;</li><li>At ease with computers;</li><li>Able to handle items under 50lbs;</li><li>Valid forklift certificate is an asset; otherwise training will be provided.</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><h1><b>What’s in it for you</b></h1><div><p style="text-align:left;"><span><span>We</span><span> are a major player, involved in the energy transformation in Canada.
