AECOM Hunt is seeking a Preconstruction Intern to be based in Dallas, TX. This position is expected to begin in Summer 2026. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: <ul><li>Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.</li><li>Assist with development of a project prior to on-site construction activities<ul><li>Cost Estimating – determine quantities utilizing a traditional 2D takeoff tool such as On-Screen Takeoff or 3D model quantities utilizing a program such as Assemble.</li><li>Schedule Development – review project documentation to determine scope involved to assist in creating a preliminary project schedule.</li><li>Logistics Planning – study characteristics of the project site to determine best approach to phasing, access, and laydown areas.</li></ul></li><li>Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.</li><li>Meets required schedules while producing quality work.</li><li>Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.</li><li>Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional </li></ul>CM—AECOM Hunt  Founded in 1944, AECOM Hunt has earned a reputation for being unconditionally  client-focused – delivering construction projects on schedule and within budget, no  matter the scope.
