By digitalizing and automating control processes, we’re actively driving the energy transition forward.We’re looking for a freelance IT Administrator to support our growing team by managing internal access and security, setting up systems during onboarding and offboarding, and offering hands-on support to employees and devices. If you're experienced in general IT administration and enjoy creating smooth, secure tech environments, we’d love to hear from you!<h2>Tasks</h2>Access &amp; Security Management<ul><li>Manage user access rights and security settings across internal systems</li><li>Set up and remove access during onboarding and offboarding</li><li>Maintain and improve access control processes and documentation</li></ul>IT Administration Including but not limited to:<ul><li>Administer and maintain platforms such as:</li><li>Google Workspace</li><li>Jira</li><li>Bitwarden</li><li>Notion</li><li>VPN</li><li>Slack</li><li>Support office infrastructure (e.g., Wi-Fi, printer setup, router configuration)</li></ul>Employee Support<ul><li>Provide first-level IT support for Windows, macOS, and Linux devices</li><li>Assist with software and hardware troubleshooting</li><li>Maintain laptop fleet and define machine specifications for new hires</li></ul>Additional Tasks<ul><li>Run IT security training during onboarding and suggest annual refreshers</li><li>Keep IT inventory and documentation up to date</li><li>Support website and domain admin basics (e.g., DNS, email routing)</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>🎓 Degree or vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in)</li><li>🖥️ Experience with Windows, macOS &amp; Linux systems</li><li>🌐 Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)</li><li>👤 Google Workspace &amp; user account management</li><li>🔒 Foundational IT security knowledge (firewalls, antivirus, 2FA)</li><li>💾 Experience with backup &amp; recovery procedures</li><li>🌍 Basic website/domain admin skills</li><li>🛠️ Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware &amp; software)</li><li>🗣️ Solid communication in English and German</li><li>📋 Basic documentation and IT inventory handling</li><li>🏢 Willingness to work onsite in our Berlin office every two weeks</li></ul>--- You can expect a motivated, open-minded, and dynamic environment driven by passion and ambition to actively shape the energy transition – a goal we can only achieve together!We look forward to your application – Fernanda will be in touch with you!
