Job Description Summary:The DOT Compliance Administrator will be responsible for maintaining all DOT-related Driver Compliance Efforts as well as assisting with other Fleet-related tasks.Job Description:<div><div>*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned </div><div> </div><div>Position Responsibilities and Duties:<ul><li>Administer/Monitor company’s Preferred Drivers Program (MVR)</li><li>Coordinate quarterly mandatory drug testing with DOT</li><li>Maintain quarterly mandatory drug testing files</li><li>Maintenance and distribution of compliance training materials</li><li>Coordinate trainings (both online and in person) with DOT Compliance Manager and Corporate Training Team</li><li>Recording in-person training attendees in EMS</li><li>Assist Fleet Supervisor with full life-cycle management of heavy-duty (DOT) vehicles from acquisitions and distribution (including licensing, weight stickers, decaling and installation of upfits) through to disposals.</li><li>Coordinate inspections required to maintain compliance with company policy and state/federal regulations.</li><li>Assists Fleet Supervisor to ensure annual registration and licensing is in compliance with company policy and state/federal guidelines.</li><li>Assist Fleet Supervisor to engage field teams to enter/update fleet assignments and locations weekly.</li><li>Monitor and flag annual vehicle inspections/certifications and takes the appropriate actions necessary to ensure compliance.</li><li>Work with HR to review and report on conformance/non-conformance of driver records (via Preferred Drives Program) including drivers’ abstracts, licenses.</li><li>Ensures compliance with DOT policies.</li><li>Responsible for generating DOT-Compliance-related reports for HR, Executive Leadership Team and Corporate Partners.</li><li>Assists Risk Management with the process of recording all accidents involving fleet vehicles.</li><li>Actively looks for gaps in vehicle, driver documentation and uses thought logic to correct discrepancies.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul>Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:<ul><li>1+ years of experience in a Fleet, Equipment or related coordination role.</li><li>Experience with reporting and tracking using Excel is an asset.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently with an ability to research and solve problems.</li><li>Have a basic understanding of DOT regulations and their applications is an asset.</li><li>Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.</li><li>Successful completion of pre-employment drug &amp; alcohol requirements.</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li>Remote position with travel to Main Office.</li><li>Some travel to various project sites may be required.</li></ul>SOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
