Our plant performs regeneration of ion exchange resin First shift – 6 AM to 2:30PM The Supervisor collaborates cross-functionally with departments such as Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to identify, develop, and implement process improvements. A strong focus on continuous improvement methodologies—including Six Sigma and process mapping—is essential to drive operational excellence and enhance productivity. Key Responsibilities:Safety and Compliance:<ul><li>Enforce safety protocols and procedures</li><li>Conduct regular safety training for production team members</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines</li><li>Conduct safety inspections and address any safety concerns or hazards</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records.</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Mentorship: Lead a team of 24 direct reports<ul><li>Empowerment: Mentor team members, fostering their growth and skill development.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams to align processes and achieve goals.</li></ul>Inventory Management:<ul><li>Monitor and track inventory levels</li><li>Order supplies and materials as needed</li><li>Implement systems to optimize inventory management</li><li>Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies</li><li>Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of materials</li></ul><ul><li>Qualifications:</li><li>Preferred bachelor's degree in Chemical Manufacturing, or a related field</li><li>5 years of relevant experience; experience in chemical manufacturing processes.</li><li>Experience with Continuous Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, 5S practices, and initiatives.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, vSimple, SAP ERP).</li><li>In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.</li><li>Experience with inventory management software and systems.</li><li>Ability to develop and implement inventory optimization strategies.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good understanding of international trade laws and customs regulations.</li><li>Knowledge and experience managing DOT drivers and familiarity with DOT compliance requirements.</li></ul>Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this positionThe estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.   <h3>#LI-JRT05</h3>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
