You will work closely with the Offshore and UK&amp;I O&amp;M teams as well as other RES departments including HSE, Technical and Engineering.</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><b><span>Accountabilities</span></b></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>Support the Offshore team in the delivery of operation and maintenance services, including but not limited to:</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Handling the onshore and offshore scheduled work (planning and delivery phases)</span></li><li><span>Preparing budgets and contract variations, tracking budgets and invoicing</span></li><li><span>Producing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements</span></li><li><span>Creation of reports to issue to client</span></li><li><span>Procurement of 3rd party services, tools and equipment</span></li><li><span>Leading and/or carrying out work on site including:</span></li><li><span>Inspection and planned maintenance of onshore and offshore assets</span></li><li><span>Reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical elements</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>Competency and skills to:</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Project manage planned and reactive offshore activities</span></li><li><span>Lead an onshore/offshore team in the execution of the work</span></li><li><span>Plan maintenance services involving difficult access</span></li><li><span>Ability to maintain and fault find within data logging and communication systems</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>On-Call: You may be expected to participate in a call out rota to provide emergency response outside of normal working hours.</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>The role also includes the following department responsibilities:</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Support the production and review of procedures, processes and technical literature</span></li><li><span>Draft and/or provide inputs into proposals and related cost books</span></li><li><span>Assist with the management &amp; control of both client owned and Offshore department tools, equipment and PPE</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><b><span>Knowledge</span></b></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Good knowledge of UK Health &amp; Safety legislation</span></li><li><span>Experience with data logging and communication systems (desirable)</span></li><li><span>LV &amp; mechanical fault-finding and analysis</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of wind turbines and related equipment (desirable)</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of balance of plant applicable to offshore wind farms</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of HV systems (desirable)</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of HV safety rules (desirable)</span></li><li><span>Awareness of working at height</span></li><li><span>Awareness of working within confined spaces (desirable)</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><b><span>Skills</span></b></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Excellent attitude to safety</span></li><li><span>Project Management</span></li><li><span>Technical capability for the evaluation of complex equipment</span></li><li><span>Ability to work alone and as part of a team</span></li><li><span>Capable of working offshore and at height</span></li><li><span>Physically fit, the role will require climbing / transferring to offshore structures</span></li><li><span>Ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><b><span>Experience</span></b></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>Experience of working in multidiscipline teams</span></li><li><span>Experience of the wind industry</span></li><li><span>Experience of transmission systems (desirable)</span></li><li><span>Experience offshore (desirable)</span></li><li><span>Experience working at height and lifting operations</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><b><span>Qualifications</span></b></div><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><ul><li><span>An HND in Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent qualification, but background in technical discipline</span></li><li><span>GWO Training (desirable, however full training will be given)</span></li><li><span>IRATA or rigging qualification (desirable)</span></li><li><span>Hold a full driving licence</span></li></ul><div><span>&nbsp;</span></div><p><span>At RES we celebrate difference as we know it makes our company a great place to work.
