The below will be your main responsibilities: <ul><li>Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and growth targets.</li><li>Drive operational excellence across multiple functions.</li><li>Oversee battery cell production, ensuring high throughput, quality, and cost-efficiency.</li><li>Ensure track and analyze yield metrics across production lines Identify trends, bottlenecks, and sources of yield loss using statistical tools and data analytics.</li><li>Create internal test and screen methodologies and metrics to achieve reliability targets at high yields.</li><li>Meet all internal and external quality metrics for manufacturing, products and incoming supply. Lead the quality management system across the company.</li><li>Build and lead a high-performing operations team across multiple sites.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.</li><li> </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).</li><li>10+ years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing or operations, ideally in battery, EV, or energy storage sectors.</li><li>Deep understanding of production processes (battery experience preferred formation, testing).</li><li>Proven track record in scaling operations and managing complex supply chains.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.</li></ul><div> </div>Preferred Experience: <ul><li>Experience with lithium-ion or solid-state battery technologies.</li><li>Familiarity with global manufacturing environments (e.g., U.S., Asia, Europe).</li><li>Knowledge of Environment Social and Governance and sustainability practices.</li><li> </li></ul>This position is required to perform these above essential duties and responsibilities onsite at our QS offices in San Jose, California.  Compensation &amp; Benefits: Expected salary range for this role is from $280,900 to $356,000, and a final salary will be determined by the candidate's experience and educational background. QuantumScape also offers an annual bonus and a generous RSU/Equity package as part of its compensation plan.
