Position OverviewApollo is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join our Private Credit Liquidity Solutions trading desk within the broader Apollo Capital Solutions platform.  The incumbent will primarily focus on Private ABF and Private Credit securities as part of the Private Credit Liquidity Solutions (“PCLS”) strategy, and will assist in securities trading, risk modeling, and data analytics. Emphasis on Private ABF, including ABS, CLOs, and RMBS, in addition to private credit across both Investment Grade and High Yield securities.Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>Primary backup for ABF trader, assisting in managing the book of inventory across multiple asset classes.</li><li>Create and update various proprietary desk models to evaluate and price up risk in ABF and private credit.</li><li>Assist in building out desk infrastructure, including color database, inventory models, and client distribution trackers.</li><li>Collaborate with multiple functional groups, including Origination and Syndicate, Apollo Private Equity, Corporate Credit, and our operating platforms, to deliver an innovative client experience.</li><li>Facilitate and execute trades while also owning the point of contact and client outreach.</li><li>Monitor and risk manage desk inventory and pertinent hedging strategies.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>1-3 years ABF investment or structuring experience at an investment firm with a focus on ABS/RMBS (opportunistic and/or special situations investment experience is a plus).</li><li>Deep familiarity with deal documentation and experience working with external legal counsel.</li><li>Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory.</li><li>Knowledge of Bloomberg and Intex.</li><li>Familiarity with rating agency methodologies.</li><li>Strong presentation and communication abilities, detail orientation, and an exceptional technical skillset.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rigorous work environment; demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities – must demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude toward given tasks.</li><li>Self-starter with a willingness to execute projects on a small, nimble team.</li><li>Team-oriented and collaborative attitude is a must.</li><li>A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.</li></ul>About ApolloApollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager.
