Responsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of GEA Bakery equipment at customer sites across the Middle East.</li><li>Ensure mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting of bakery processing machinery such as dough dividers, mixers, ovens, and related systems.</li><li>Coordinate with customers and internal teams for project execution and equipment start-up.</li><li>Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration activities to minimize downtime and ensure equipment performance.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation including service reports, commissioning checklists, and technical feedback.</li><li>Provide timely technical support and training to customers on proper equipment usage and best practices.</li><li>Identify spare part needs and support customers with spare parts recommendations and follow-up.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards at all times during on-site visits.</li><li>Support claims handling and warranty assessments where required.</li><li>Promote GEA's digital tools and remote service offerings to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.</li><li>Maintain proactive communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and service continuity.</li><li>Identify upselling opportunities in spare parts and services.</li><li>Flexibility to travel extensively across the region, sometimes on short notice.</li><li>Participate actively in the implementation of DIGITALIZATION drive by the company.</li><li>Report to Director Service FHT.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.</li><li>2–5 years of hands-on field service experience, preferably in the Bakery, Food Processing, or FMCG sectors.</li><li>Prior experience with GEA or similar industrial bakery equipment is a strong advantage.</li><li>Sound understanding of mechanical systems; basic knowledge of automation and electrical systems is beneficial.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.</li><li>Fluent in English; Arabic is an added advantage.</li></ul>Did we spark your interest?
