Throughout your time at Outrider, you'll collaborate across teams and functions to build and maintain robust systems that keep the global economy moving.Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, build, test, and deploy software functionality for perception-drive robotic manipulation.</li><li>Develop algorithms, robotic software modules and libraries with responsibility for the full software engineering lifecycle: requirements, design, source code implementation, unit test, integration, and system test.</li><li>Support product deployment, system maintenance, and software-based as well as real-world simulations of commercial functionality.</li><li>Support product development and customer deployments.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>12 months’ experience working as Robotics Software Engineer, Field Support Engineer, or related position and 1 year of C++ development, plus demonstrated experience in or knowledge of the following:<ul><li>Robotics software engineering, autonomous vehicle systems, robotic perception, computer vision, or planning and controls</li><li>ROS-based software development for robotic systems</li><li>Python</li><li>Working in a Linux environment and targeting embedded deployment</li></ul></li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Salary: $94,578 - $134,950</li><li>Equity: equity package commensurate on experience and skills</li><li>Benefits: Full health benefits</li><li>Actual compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, and specific work location due to differences in the cost of labor</li></ul>
