Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>This role is located on-site at Headquarters in Newark, CA.</strong></p><p>Role Responsibilities:</p><p>· Cross-functionally lead ADAS validation engineering team activity planning &amp; resource planning including testing vehicles, equipment, transportation, regulatory &amp; validation testing schedules for on-road, proving ground testing &amp; simulation for various vehicle programs from concept to post-SOP</p><p>· Create and own ADAS features verification &amp; validation plans under the guidance of engineering managers that align with internal and external customer needs, major program milestones and involved stakeholders</p><p>· Align with ADAS program and feature delivery program managers to provide validation plans &amp; deliverable timelines and represent ADAS validation in various internal ADAS planning meetings; Communicate ADAS/AD validation progress to overall ADAS/AD organization, other program managers and executives as needed</p><p>· Align with organization’s digital integration and software release groups for OTA software cycles and feature delivery plans; Support planning of ADAS/AD software releases, support release managers &amp; technical leads and communicate ADAS software validation status under direction of ADAS validation engineering leadership</p><p>· Identify and track cross team dependencies and handshake points, foster collaboration, monitor status, help resolve issues, report, and fill the gaps</p><p>· Drive JIRA ticket resolution process, including triaging, root cause analysis, countermeasure identification, verification and implementation etc. for ADAS/AD validation tickets</p><p>· Interact with and coordinate work between various hardware &amp; software teams, product, systems engineering, function safety, and other teams requiring inputs/outputs from the ADAS/AD validation</p><p>· Document ADAS/AD validation for each OTA and ADAS feature releases and sign off under guidance of ADAS/AD validation engineering leadership</p><p>· Support in planning &amp; development of ADAS/AD dashboards on validation data, ticket status, V&amp;V testing coverage etc.</p><p>Required Qualifications:</p><p>· BS degree in electrical, mechanical, computer, systems engineering or related engineering discipline AND 10+ years of experience in the automotive field with 8+ in ADAS/AD features development execution (validation preferred) OR</p><p>· MS degree in electrical, mechanical, computer engineering or related engineering discipline AND 8+ years of experience in the automotive field with 6+ in ADAS/AD features development execution (validation preferred)</p><p>· 5+ years of experience in technical program management in ADAS</p><p>· Success in leading cross-functional teams in launching ADAS/AD features into production</p><p>· An ability to lead through ambiguity and enabling teams to perform in this environment</p><p>· Expertise using JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools</p><p>· Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills and an ability to explain difficult or sensitive information in an easy to understand manner</p><p>· Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems and effectively facilitate the team to a decision and coordinate the action plan.</p><p>· Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work in a high-pace highly complex cross-functional environment.</p><p>· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to drive decisions using data and metrics </p><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><p>· Previous project management experience from an OEM or a Tier1 in ADAS/AD validation, SW development, or systems engineering</p><p>· Previous experience with lean-agile framework, and development and deployment process</p><p>· Knowledge of relevant regulations and applicable safety standards for typical ADAS features (e.g. ASPICE, FMVSS, EuroNCAP, R79, GSR2, etc.)</p><p>· ADAS/AD experience as product manager/system engineer/validation engineer/software developer</p><p>· MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, or similar preferred</p><div>At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
