This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our custom industrial machinery and equipment.This is an onsite role in Hayward, CA and may include occasional mandatory overtime. We are unable to sponsor H-1B visas or other employment-based visas for this position at this time.Your Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on custom industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.</li><li>Follow all company policies and safety protocols strictly to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.</li><li>Perform maintenance tasks independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.</li><li>Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on various equipment and systems, including electrical components and pneumatics.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements, ensuring all logs are up-to-date.</li><li>Proficient in updating inventory records and notifying appropriate personnel when supplies are running low.</li><li>Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and provide efficient solutions to minimize downtime and operational disruption.</li><li>Work closely with other departments and team members to support overall facility operations and improvements.</li></ul>Skills/Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.</li><li>Strong communication and documentation skills.</li><li>Strong computer knowledge, specifically with Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting, software installation, and system configurations.</li><li>Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various conditions.</li></ul>Hourly Range: $32 - $35*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.**Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and long-term disability insurance.
