Works on problems of diverse scope across both hardware and software environments.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:<ul><li>Assist in technical support relationship to drive customer satisfaction by proactively implementing technical solutions for our customers.</li><li>Assist and help develop new engineers to aid their development in understanding the Teledyne controls suite of products.</li><li>Perform customer visits to train and support on our products and services.</li><li>Create reports using data provided by our customers and analyzed by our software platforms.</li><li>Work with tools such as SQL, Tableau, etc. to be able to extract meaningful information from customer data.</li><li>Program simple applications using Teledyne Controls tools.</li><li>Resolve challenging, potentially high impact customer situations with a high level of tact and understanding.</li><li>Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment under minimum supervision to support deployment, integration and maintenance of Controls’ hardware and software products within clients’ environments.</li><li>Be able to understand customer needs and identify possible new sales opportunities.</li><li>Effectively interact with the engineering teams to provide solutions to complex technical issues.</li><li>Share best practices with fellow team members to enhance the quality and efficiency of our processes.</li><li>Travel domestically and internationally to Customer sites, industry conferences, as necessary.</li><li>Work on different projects simultaneously.</li><li>Briefs others on deployment, deliverables, status, and progress</li></ul>Education and/or Experience ;<ul><li>Requires a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical or other related Engineering discipline.</li><li>At least a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience with Teledyne controls products.</li><li>Complete understanding of aviation and/or avionics system is a must.</li><li>Experience working with Tableau, or any other Data Analysis/Visualization software is highly desired.</li></ul>Must reside in UK Preferable near Cumbernauld  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
