We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Work Superintendent to lead the field execution of civil and site development scopes on complex data center construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all site preparation, earthwork, grading, underground utilities, drainage, and foundations. You will coordinate field activities, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure civil work progresses on schedule and according to design.Key Responsibilities:Field Leadership &amp; Execution<ul><li>Supervise daily activities of civil subcontractors including excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, concrete foundations, roadwork, stormwater management, and utility installation.</li><li>Interpret civil site plans, grading and drainage drawings, and ensure field execution aligns with design intent.</li><li>Ensure the safe and timely completion of site scopes in preparation for building construction and vertical trades.</li></ul>Scheduling &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Develop and manage 3-week lookahead schedules for site development activities.</li><li>Coordinate closely with structural, utility, and MEP trades to support work sequencing and avoid rework or delays.</li><li>Track civil progress against milestones and escalate potential impacts to overall project schedule.</li></ul>Quality Control &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Perform daily inspections of excavation, compaction, utility installation, concrete placement, and erosion control measures.</li><li>Ensure work is performed in compliance with project specifications, geotechnical reports, municipal requirements, and permitting conditions.</li><li>Support field testing, third-party inspections, and recordkeeping for QA/QC documentation.</li></ul>Safety Leadership<ul><li>Enforce safe work practices including trench safety, traffic control, equipment operations, and stormwater compliance.</li><li>Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks with subcontractors.</li><li>Collaborate with the EHS team to perform site audits and resolve safety issues promptly.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain daily logs documenting manpower, weather, equipment usage, and work progress.</li><li>Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and field changes related to site and civil scopes.</li><li>Coordinate redlines, as-builts, and closeout documentation for site systems.</li></ul>
