This dynamic role is primarily field-based (80%) with some time in the construction field office (20%), offering the perfect balance for those who thrive in hands-on environments and operational leadership.If you have a solid background in logistics, materials management, and construction operations—and enjoy working collaboratively to ensure projects run smoothly—this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Position: Logistics Supervisor                                                                                     Supervisor (Reports to):   Logistics ManagerSummary Description:The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining best practices and procedures for receiving, shipping, and transferring all construction-related materials and equipment to commercial jobsites and/or to the Gridworks warehouse. This is an 80% field 20% construction field office position. Logistics Supervisor Job Responsibilities:Materials Management<ul><li>Monitors and controls materials shipping and receiving at the project site.</li><li>Maintains best practices and procedures for handling of, organization of and storage of material at each commercial jobsite. This will be done following manufacturer guidelines and construction requirements.</li><li>Conduct material, receiving inspections and report quality control issues in-regards to shipped or received material to the Logistics Manager. </li><li>Will conduct regular material inventory audits and inspections using Procore or other inspection documents.</li><li>Will coordinate and receive all machinery and equipment delivered or removed from the project. <ul style="list-style-type:circle;"><li>Equipment inspections and safety inspections will be conducted at the time of receiving the equipment and again monthly or quarterly. </li></ul></li><li>Coordinates scheduling material and equipment transfers between all ASI jobsites.</li></ul>Document Management<ul><li>Enters, transcribes, records, stores, and maintains packing lists, BOLs, Purchase orders and all other receiving related information. </li><li>Prepares or performs data entry into documents such as receiving inspections, receiving trackers, inventory trackers, damaged material trackers, project specific driver handouts/instructions, daily receiving reports, weekly receiving/material summaries, work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route/manage materials.</li><li>Conduct inventory audits and provide documentation to construction management and senior management.</li><li>Completes daily check lists for accountability.</li><li>Handles RMA documentation on all return orders following manufacturer specific and contract specific requirements.</li><li>Will support construction mechanical teams with module scanning and warranty claims recording and submitting documentation to the Logistics Manager.</li></ul>Relationship Management<ul><li>Builds and maintains working relationships with carrier and vendor representatives</li><li>Collaborates with procurement management and warehouse team when applicable</li><li>Collaborates with customer service team and accounting</li><li>Coordinate with project teams/management team and suppliers on scheduling inbound/outbound deliveries.</li><li>Must be a professional team leader to help the growth and development of peers or subordinates. </li><li>Must be able to collaborate with other trades in the field and coordinate the movement, placement and storage of material on project sites.</li><li>Follows all jobsite and warehouse safety regulations using industry standards or best practices.</li><li>Attends meetings and educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market </li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)<ul><li>High School diploma or GED</li><li>At least 1-2 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, material coordination, and/or logistics or other relevant utility scale construction experience.</li><li>Knowledge of UPS, Fed Ex, LTL, full truck shipping procedures required</li><li>Minimum 1-2 years of PV or Utility Scale Construction experience. </li><li>Knowledge of or experience with 1 or more PV tracker manufacturer system types, 1 or more PV module manufacturer types and 1 or more wire and steel I-Beam types are preferred.</li><li>Must be able to read and understand purchase orders, packing lists/BOLs, and engineering drawings.</li><li>Preferred to have basic or advanced industrial safety certifications. (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30) For Supervisors.</li><li>Minimum 1-2 years of heavy equipment operation and current certifications (preferred) for skid steer, off-road forklift/telehandler, and other loaders.</li><li>Experience in professionally collaborating with internal and external company employees</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Strong team collaboration skills</li><li>Strong problem-identifying and solving skills</li><li>Organized and detail-oriented</li><li>Must demonstrate strong leadership skills to organize and run smooth field operations with other craft employees. </li><li>Must have the ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.</li><li>Must be willing to travel extensively in or out of state and be on assignment up to 100% of the time. </li><li>Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)</li><li>Other systems such as Procore, SharePoint, and CMiC are a plus.</li><li>Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance)</li></ul>
