The Operations Supervisor will demonstrate consistent and best work practices to set the foundation of chemical processing, safe work, and leading industry standards execution throughout the facility. They will coordinate with respective stakeholders to continuously improve the day-to-day operation of the facility while continuing to grow their team’s skills.  Responsibilities will include:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Execution of the training program to ensure compliance with all organizational and departmental policies and standards.  </li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Build effective relationships with employees through a strong presence on the operations floor or warehousing operations and ongoing engagement with front-line operators as well as maintenance, engineering, and quality personnel.  </li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Provide training and mentoring to new hires in safety, company policies, procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing execution through both hands-on and classroom-based learning. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Collaborate with site leadership to develop and execute the department’s manufacturing strategy, including operations, shift planning and delegation. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Lead a diverse team to foster an inclusive work environment that delivers safe, reliable, and cost-optimized production. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and hold team members accountable for meeting performance standards. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure your team is prepared for plant start-up, shut down, and steady state operations. </li><li style="font-size:12pt;font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Identify potential risks to performance and lead the team in resolving issues.
