Enphase is also one of the most successful and innovative clean energy companies in the world, with more than 80 million products shipped across 160 countries.</div>About the role<div>The successful candidate will lead all aspects of indirect tax compliance and planning, reporting directly to the Head of Tax (based out of CA, US).       </div>What you will do<ul><li>Indirect tax (VAT / GST / property tax) compliance, specifically ensuring the quality/accuracy of indirect tax filings, and the timely submission of all filings in EMEA and APAC.</li><li>Oversee the process /review month-end journal entries and GL reconciliations.</li><li>Automating internal indirect tax functions and processes using technology.</li><li>Assisting with setting up end-to-end systems and processes for collecting indirect tax in new jurisdictions.</li><li>Partner with IT on system configuration to determine the indirect tax treatment of new product lines.</li><li>Partner with IT on system design, configuration, and implementation with respect to Business to Government reporting requirements e.g., SAF-T, SII, e-invoicing, etc. </li><li>Lead the company in the end-to-end implementation process for e-invoicing compliance in Europe and beyond.</li><li>Advise business on indirect tax aspects of new business ventures, contracts, M&amp;A, etc.  </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate on indirect tax issues, requirements, opportunities, and risks.</li><li>Partner with IT and tax engine providers to assist with system testing and implementation of system updates to accommodate new product lines, tax registrations and/or new tax requirements.</li><li>Automating policies and processes in the context of the company's growth to mitigate risks and help ensure timely and accurate reporting.</li><li>Lead an existing team of two professionals.</li><li>Manage relationships with service providers, including optimization of costs.</li><li>Manage end-to-end controversy process.</li></ul>Who you are and what you bring<ul><li>10+ years of transaction tax / indirect tax experience including technology experience.</li><li>Big 4 experience ideal and prior in-house industry experience is a plus</li><li>Experience with ERP systems and tax engines and reporting systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Avalara), including configurations to ensure appropriate transaction-level reporting</li><li>Experience with automating indirect tax compliance processes is a plus, e.g. Alteryx, robotics</li><li>Experience in accounting for indirect tax activities under US GAAP principles</li><li>Continuous improvement mindset to bring best practices and efficiencies to flex with growing requirements</li><li>Effective written and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to drive tasks to completion autonomously</li><li>Indirect tax-specific qualifications preferred</li><li>Willingness to work from the office as and when required</li></ul><div>Join our dynamic teams designing and developing next-gen energy technologies and help drive a sustainable future!</div><div> </div><div>Please submit all resumes in English.</div>
