Here’s what you’ll do:Managing the Design Management Team<ul><li>Work closely with the team Leadership and assist in the management of the Design Management team.</li><li>Support the team Leadership in their roles and undertake duties such as business development, team performance reviews etc. as required.</li><li>Gain an understanding of the Team leaders roles and responsibilities and when required, supplement the Team Leaders in their absence</li><li>Management of AECOM financial process and invoicing.</li><li>Contribute to the DM business planning as required and continuously review business planning targets to monitor progress of the team.</li><li>Lead Design Management projects across the UK and Internationally.</li><li>Assist in the development of the Design Management team members through mentoring, training and reviews.</li><li>Review of work outputs from Design Management team prior to issue to ensure quality and compliance with contractual obligations.</li></ul>Managing Sub-consultants<ul><li>Prepare responsibility matrix to identify sub-consultant responsibility for each area of scope.</li><li>Draft and distribute sub-consultant back-to-back contracts so that all scope is accounted for.</li><li>Manage updates to sub-consultant contracts and prepare final documents.</li><li>Prepare and update cash flow projections.</li><li>Establish procedures for invoice submission for sub-consultants and monitor.</li><li>Track and report on the progress of all sub-consultant invoices and prepare a monthly Financial Report.</li></ul>Establishment and Implementation of Design Management Procedures including:-<ul><li>Roles and Responsibilities/Scope Delineation</li><li>Preparing design programmes, monitoring and reporting progress</li><li>Managing Deliverables/outputs</li><li>Managing Design Quality</li><li>Managing Design Budgets/Change</li><li>Managing Approvals</li><li>Organising Project Meetings &amp; Design Workshops</li><li>Managing Design Coordination</li></ul>Assist in the Management of the Design Management Team<ul><li>Achieve AECOM PM accreditation, take active role in management of design projects in accordance with AECOM financial systems and processes.</li><li>Lead/Support Design Management projects across the UK and Internationally as appropriate.</li><li>Assist in the development of junior Design Management team members through mentoring, training and reviews.</li><li>Review work outputs from junior Design Management team members prior to issue to ensure quality and compliance with contractual obligations.</li><li>Support the Design Management team Leadership as required.</li></ul>If you're passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you.
