The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with MadCap Flare. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and support teams to create comprehensive documentation for hardware products and systems.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, write, and maintain clear, accurate, and user-friendly hardware documentation such as:</li><ul><li>Installation guides</li><li>Assembly and disassembly instructions</li><li>Technical specifications</li><li>Maintenance and service manuals</li><li>Regulatory and safety documentation</li></ul><li>Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineering teams to gather technical information.</li><li>Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics to create accurate documentation.</li><li>Use MadCap Flare to author, manage, and publish content in various formats (HTML5, PDF, etc.).</li><li>Drive documentation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.</li><li>Ensure all documentation complies with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation processes and tools.</li></ul> Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>5+ years of experience in hardware documentation, preferably in the electronics, energy, automotive, or manufacturing sectors.</li><li>Proficiency in MadCap Flare for authoring and content management is a must.</li><li>Strong understanding of hardware design principles and product life cycles.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.</li><li>Experience working in Agile or cross-functional team environments.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with 3D modeling tools for extracting visuals is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and content management systems.</li><li>Exposure to localization workflows and working with translation vendors.</li></ul>Work Location:This is an on-site role based in our Bangalore office, with Hybrid working options. <div>We are committed to an inclusive and diverse team.
